SP Dashcam collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, and no server operated by the developer. Your phone talks to your vehicle and to nothing else.
Applies to the iOS and Android app SP Dashcam. Last updated 4 September 2026.
None. We operate no server, run no analytics, and have no way to receive information about you or your vehicle. Nothing you do in this app is reported to us or to anyone else.
Three things, all held only on your phone:
Deleting the app deletes all three.
To one address: the one your vehicle published when you paired, and which you approved by scanning its code. Requests carry the access token so your vehicle knows the phone is yours.
That connection travels over the internet through the tunnel your vehicle opens, so it works away from the car. It is encrypted in transit. The developer operates no part of it and can see none of it.
The app contacts no other server. There are no third-party SDKs of any kind.
Recordings stay on the memory card in your vehicle. The app streams them for viewing and does not copy them to your phone unless you choose to export a clip — and an exported clip goes into your device's photo library and nowhere else. It is never uploaded.
The app requests no location permission, and has no location code of any kind.
No analytics. No crash reporting. No advertising or ad identifiers. No tracking, and no sharing or selling of data — we hold none to share. No accounts and no sign-in. No third-party SDKs.
The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new date.
